Help, DHCP Problem with NDK2.00

Hi, I'm working on EVMDM6437, but I fond a problem, that the DHCP function was fail with the NDK 2.00. I'm sure the DHCP server was working ok.

Please help me to solve this problem, thank you.

Hi,

Have you tried any other EVM or PC connected to the same network port and is able to get the IP address through DHCP successfully?

You could also install softwares like tftpd32.This will have options to configure/run dhcp server on your PC itself. Once you install/run tftpd32 on your PC with dhcp configured,you could connect the EVM directly to your PC and run the client.pjt demo example. This is a simple point to point setup and would be helpful to know if DHCP is working fine or not.

The DHCP server is working fine, because PCs and NDK1.92 can get IP.

I am having the same issue. I have verified the DHCP works on all other devices but the NDK. It seems the recv() never gets the DISCOVER response.

From my brief examination it seems to be a bug in the stack/lib layer provided without source code, so no. But I am filing a bug report and I would suggest you do the same.

Anyone from TI reading this: is this a known issue to be addressed? In other threads people on non 676x platforms have confirmed the problem with 2.x, but not with 1.9x version. I can not run the older version on 6747, so I can not test it.
