Hi,

I use CCS7.2 emulation test AM5728 Cortex M4, but when i connect target,the error is...

Cortex_M4_IPU1_C0: Error connecting to the target: (Error -1170 @ 0x0) Unable to access the DAP. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 6.0.628.3)

I alredy saw processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM572x_GP_EVM_Hardware_Setup.
My board is the AM5728 IDK , it must connect the XDS200 Emulator to the 20 pin heade?
and my CCS7.2 is not the TI XDS usb xx debug emulate!

You don't have to use external XDS200 emulator. The AM572x IDK EVM supports embedded XDS100V2 USB Emulation through the USB Micro-ABconnector, see www.ti.com/.../sprui64.
Make sure you select IDK_AM572x as 'Board or Device' when creating target configuration, and connect to CortexA15_0 first before you try to connect to M4, so the GEL script associated with CortexA15_0 is run to initialize the board and M4 clock...
