we are working on U-Boot for flashing a custom board, according to the link :

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Sitara_Uniflash_Flash_Programming_with_Linux

with the latest SDK, am43xx_evm_usbspl_tftpboot_config is missing. What configuration should I use?

It looks like the latest SDK has integrated the boot using USB. I didn't have time to validate it just now, but can you give am43xx_evm_defconfig a try? This looks to have USB Ethernet support included.

You will then need to modify the BOOTCMD to have it do all of the TFTPing automatically.

Thanks for all the help.

I have modified the config since we have custom board. it works now. just one more question, i am trying to downlaod the rootfs.tar.gz, but the speed is too slow ( 200MB for 20 Minutes) since we have 1.2G. it will take like 2 hours. Is it normal?

I'm sorry, I don't remember the speeds that I was seeing , but this does seem slow. Have you tried booting to Linux (instead of transferring in U-Boot)? You could use a small ramdisk to get to Linux.

Hi Ron

I did. I am using flasher.sh to program after booting to Linux.

Anything I need to set for USB speed in Linux kernel configuration. I followed the instruction:processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Sitara_Uniflash_Flash_Programming_with_Linux.

The SDK I am using is: 04.00.00.04
