Hi,

EVM_Module: TMDSEVM572x

TI_RTOS: processor_sdk_rtos_am57xx_3_02_00_05

I downloaded PinMux v4 and installed it on window 7.

Now when i am trying to load existing pinmux design

file at path C:\ti\pdk_am57xx_1_0_5\packages\ti\board\src\evmAM572x\evmAM572x_SR2.0.pinmux of AM572x EVM. It is not working and got hang at below screen

As far as I know this bug was fixed in the latest PDK v4. Can you try loading a .pinmux file from v4 and report if you still have issues?

Hello Alex,
I installed pinmux_setup_4.0.1496_install. still it is having the issue.

Did you install the latest SDK though? That's what I was actually suggesting. Try the .pinmux files from the latest SDK/PDK in the latest PinMux tool.

I thought you are talking about pinmux version...
I loaded the design file of pinmucx configuration from new sdk version V4 after installing ti-processor-sdk-rtos-am57xx-evm-04.00.00.04-Windows-x86-Install, and it works.

HI,

The code generated with new configuration for PRU gpi. there are ifdef conditions for PRUss1_PRU0 so do i need to define it in my code.

The boardPadDelayInit.c file is supposed to go along the other PDK files. Have a look at the boardPadDelayTune.h which defines the proper delay modes based on GUI configuration for you.

My question is, the mode of PRU GPI is defined as PR1_PRU0_DIR_IN_MANUAL in boardPadDelayTune.h file, but why it is showing in grey shed in boardPadDelay.h file(as shown in attached jpeg)? it seems that the defined mode is not active.

That's just your text editor that is shading these modes. If they are defines in the tune.h files then these if clauses will be valid in the delay.h file. Does it make sense now?
