Hello,

I've been searching in TRM for emac/mii but I could not find it being mentioned (both in datasheet and in TRM).

When I searched at similar products such as omap35x, I did find emac both in datasheet and in TRM.

Does am37x supports emac ?

If yes - why I can't find it being mentioned ?

I also tried to find it in pinmux table, but I did not find it their too.

AM37x does not have an EMAC.

Hello Steve,

Right. This is exactly what I don't understand !

How does the board and linux running on this soc still manage to get/send ethernet packets in u-boot and Linux ?
I also can't find any code reference which refer to ethernet.

But if there is no emac controller does it also mean that there are no pins for ethernet ?

Does it mean that in order to achieve rx/tx packet sending with this soc, someone must use other pins "disguised" as ethernet tx/rx ?

If I remember correctly, the AM3715 had an SMSC part connected on the GPMC bus.
