Hi Sir
After checking AM3352 Spec, we found the DCAN can support CAN protocol 2.0( ISO11898-1 ) .
Is it available to support ISO11898-2 ?
please advise and thanks

Hi Sir
Over one week. Do you have any update for this issue ?
thanks for reply.

Hello Yimin,
Sorry for my late response. Since the hurricane Harvey hit Houston last week, I didn't check the mail and e2e regularly.
When we talk about DCAN network, we mention the data link layer and the physical layer. ISO11898 is the international standard for high-speed CAN communications in road vehicles. The ISO 11898-1 covers the data link layer layer and physical signaling of the physical layer. Those parts are implemented in our DCAN module.
The ISO 11898-2 specifies the medium access interface (MDI) , physical medium attachment (PMA) sublayers. The PMAand MDI are the two parts of the physical layer which are not defined by CAN. ISO-11898-2 does not specify the mechanical wires and connectors. However, the specification does require that the wires and connectors meet the electrical specification. The specification also requires 120Ω terminating resistors at each end of the bus.
TI CAN transceiver SN65HVDxx implements the ISO11898-2 physical layer specification.
