Linux/AM5728: Video decode issue

Hi.

with vidtest3 or gstreamer, when i decode video contennts(1080p30), VIDDEC3_process have outArgs->extendedError is 01400000.

but, it is displayed well. outArgs->extendedError is 01400000 whenever VIDDEC3_process is called.

Hello,

Do you see this error for every video stream(1080p30) or you see it for specific video?
What is the pipeline that you are using?
For more information regarding the decoder's errors you could check the h264dec user guide (~page59).

this pipile is gst-launch-1.0 filesrc location=/HDD/xx.mpg ! mpegvideoparse ! ducatimpeg2dec! kmssink connector=36.
and it occur at specific contents.
how do i get h264dec user guide and mpeg2 user guide ?

Hello,

You could find the codecs here:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Processor_Training:_Multimedia
under folder :
/ipumm/extrel/ti/ivahd_codecs/packages/ti/sdo/codecs
you could find the codes in the h264dec doc folder is the user guide.

I also would recommend you to try pipeline like:
gst-launch-1.0 filesrc location=/HDD/xx.mpg ! mpegvideoparse ! ducatimpeg2decvpe ! kmssink connector=36
