Hello Everyone,
I've been attempting to set up the EVMK2G SDK on my PC. I've followed all the directions from the support website and have found some inconsistencies with the expectations from the directions, but no debug or issue support is stated in the directions.
The first issue, which could possibly resolve everything else, is getting an IP address to come up on the LCD screen. I have an ethernet cable connected from the RJ45 connector on the EVM to an ethernet switch which has both my PC and incoming internet fed into it. I've also tried directly hooking the EVM via RJ45 into the PC alone. When I check the command prompt for IP config/all, it shows the pc is set up for DHCP, so it should be assigning an IP address to the board. I turn the board on and it boots from the micro SD card, but when the screen shows "IP Address" there's nothing there. I can't find any information for this online.
I'm not able to establish a target configuration in CCS and assume it's due to this issue. This is as far as I've gotten.
CCS Version 7.1.0.16, EVMK2G Rev D 1.3, Downloaded Processor SDK RTOS for K2G.
Any/all help is appreciated, I've spent several hours uninstalling/reinstalling, searching for support, and attempting to figure this out and have wasted too much time. Thanks in advance.
