Inline Debugging and IDE

Hi,

I have a DVEVM board that I'd like to get inline debugging capability for. Ideally, with remote debugging through an IDE. This would be on the ARM core running linux.

Has anyone done this already or have any suggestions?

I've seen an online examples of gdb being used, but I get errors when I try and build my host debugger for the arm target device.

What DVSDK version are you using? If you are using an MV5 DVSDK (e.g. version 2.00.00.22), then you may want to see this wiki article: http://wiki.davincidsp.com/index.php/Debugging_a_Linux_Application_with_MontaVista_5.0

I had to work around some different things in my DVEVM installatio, but it worked eventually. Thats great.
