AM4377: Support for 3-axis servo

Hi all,

Customer is now using one am4377 chip to control 3 axis.

They need to control the 3 axis independently. They hope backoff ethercat master can scan 3 ethercat slave with one am4377. And each of it control a axis, it can read/write independently.

Does AM4377 ethercat slave demo can support this?

No, this isn't possible. You will need 3 PRU-ICSS subsystems for this, each having 2 MII interfaces exposed on the device pins. AM437x devices have 2 PRU-ICSS subsystems, and only PRU-ICSS1 has 2 MII interfaces exposed on the device pins. This means that only 1 EtherCAT Slave can be implemented on a single device.
