I am developing custom board following AM437x IDK 1.4A circuit.

This custom board only have EnDat, ICSS Ethernet port and 20 pin cTI JTAG.

I use SYSBIOS ind SDK 02.01.03.02 develop EtherCAT + EnDat application, and want to flash QSPI flash via UniFlash.

Following the guide http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Sitara_Uniflash_Quick_Start_Guide

I installed Uniflash 3.4.1.00012 on Win7(32bit)

But I get confuse to these problem

1. What files I need to put into TFTP home folder ?

2. Can I flash using ICSS Ethernet port ?

3. Can I flash using JTAG via CCS6.2.0 ?

Hi,

Uniflash is usually used for flashing Linux on the target board. On your questions:

1. For RTOS you will need to flash the bootloader and application program.
2. No.
3. No.

Thanks for your replying.

Is there any other methods to flash the custom board?

There is no time for me to redevelop the system using PRU-ICSS Industrial software.

Yi-Lin,

As Biser mentioned the Uniflash tools are not supported with SYSBIOS software. We are currently working on a version that can be used for all the usecases but this may be available only in 1H18. The current recommended procedure for flashing TI RTOS application is as shown below:

If you are using the same flash and have hooked it similar to TI evaluation platform then, you can easily port this to your custom board, else you will need to check the QSPI flash commands and modify it for your flash device.

Hi Rahul,

Thanks for your replying.

I use the same flash and same circuit design for flash module in custom board.
But the MMCSD module and Mirco USB port are removed for reducing circuit complexity.
So I can't use SD card to flash or boot on custom board.
