TMS320C6657: Uploading large files to EVM Board

Part Number: TMS320C6657

Hello,

I am considering purchasing the TMDSEVM6647L EVM board with the C6657 processor. I would like to upload a video file (around 100 MB) to this EVM board for analysis. Would I be able to upload a 100 MB file through the USB emulation connection with my uploaded code or would I need to upload the file through another connection on the board? Also, the board has sufficient memory (128 MB NAND Flash and 512 MB DDR3 SDRAM), so I am not concerned about that.

The task I am trying to accomplish is to upload a video file, analyze it and send it out through one of the peripherals. This question is in regards to how I would initially upload the video to analyze. Please let me know if anything needs clarification.

Thank you,

Joseph
