Hi,

In a custom board of AM3354 - We want to reduce the viewing area of LCD.

We are using Newhaven display - part # NHD-7.0-800480EF-ATXL-CTP.pdf

We want to reduce the viewing area due to uneven sides of the dispaly to mount on the mechanical enclosure.

So Please let me know how to reduce the viewing area of LCD. Below is the attached LCD viewing area to be moved/ should be blank 4mm away from first green line (From left) please see below image.

Hi,

What software are you using? Which version? I don't think this can be done by hardware means (adjusting display timings). You will need to do this in application software, e.g. reduce image size but continue to output display size resolution with centered image.

Hi Biser,

Software - SDK 03.03.04 (Kernel 4.4.41)

any changes in software setting like reducing the viewing Area. does it help?

I don't think this can be done at kernel level.
