Linux/AM3358: U-boot fails on custom board

Part Number: AM3358

Tool/software: Linux

Hello comunity,

I have a custom board with a AM3358 similar to the beaglebone black. The only mayor difference is a Micron MT41K256M16TW-107 IT:P instead to the kingston D2516EC4BXGGB on my BBB.

I followed the bringup-tips and can the the steady output of 'C's with UART0. After inserting a sd-card with an image "3.8.13-bone70" the uboot stops at DRAM

U-Boot 2015.01-00001-gb2412df (Jan 29 2015 - 15:01:06), Build: jenkins-github_Bootloader-Builder-105 Watchdog enabled I2C: ready DRAM: 512 MiB

Do I have to edit the uboot because of a different RAM like on this page "//processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Sitara_Linux_Training:_Tuning_the_DDR3_Timings_on_BeagleBoneBlack"? I was thinking that the Micron RAM is compatible?!

Thank you very much for your help.

kind regards

Eric Schmieder
