66AK2G02: PowerUp Sequence Current (Inrush Current?)

Hi Miki,
The initial revision of the 66AK2G02 did have a high current issue observed on the 3.3V rail. That issue was isolated to the implementation of the 3.3V IOs in the K2G and the problem is corrected in the next revision of the device. The fix has not been fully characterized at this time but the current at startup has been significantly reduced.
We have not observed the spike on the 1.8V rail. You stated that this was measured on a modified EVM. Can I get some additional detail on the test setup you used to measure the spike?

The setting has not been changed.

I removed R381 and observed the current with J42.
Again, we observed the waveform and will attach it.

As I said, we have not observed this behavior before. I will check with the product engineering team to see if they have observed this behavior during the testing of the K2G component. If it hasn't been detected then this is probably an artifact of the design and layout of the EVM. I will contact the EVM design team but it may take some time to try and duplicate the test. We haven't had any reports of any issues with the PMIC from the EVMs in the field.

DVDD18 seemed not to be a problem of 66AK2G02, so I was relieved.

by the way
Although it is said that DVDD33 has improved in the "next version", how much is the total power (*1) at powerup?
Please let us know because measured values and atmosphere are good.
*1: +3.3V(DVDD33),+1.8V(DVDD18,AVDD...),+1.35V(DDR),+0.9V(CVDD,CVDD1)

I don't have a good answer for that yet. Characterization of the next spin of the part is currently in progress. The only response I've seen on this issue is that the current is significantly less. When I get an answer I will post it here.
