CCS/TMS320C6657: Package not compatible with XDCTools

Hello

when I create a new project using CCS7 (a minimal sysbios for the eval board TMDSEVM6657LS), XDCTools 3.50 are suggested by default. But I get an error message:

The package 'ti.sysbios.family.c64p' is not compatible with XDCtools used in this build. Please either use XDCtools compatible with that package,
or update the product containing that package, or rebuild the package with XDCtools 3.50 or later.

I tried to find a way to recompile the packages, but I have to admit that I could not get anwhere. I also did every possible update. The error is still there.

If I select an older version, say XDC 3.32, then the error is gone.

My question is: how do I get the system working with the lastest version od XDCTools?

Hi,

There may be SYSBIOS/XDC tool compatibility issues. Do you use the Processor SDK RTOS package for C6657? Please check the processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Processor_SDK_RTOS_Release_Notes for the SYSBIOS, XDC versions we used for the C6657 project.

Thanks for the pointer. I erroneusly understood that the XDCTools version was linked to the CCS version.
