AM3358: Sitara AM3358 SPI clocking?

Regarding the SPI in Sitara AM3358, when in master mode what are the options to clock the data (MISO) in from an external slave? I.e. is there any other option for clocking than looping the clock back in the GPIO cell by setting the RXACTIVE bit?

Hi Arnie,

You are right about RXACTIVE bit. The associated CONF_<module>_<pin>_RXACTIVE bit for the output clock must be set to 1 to enable the clock input back to the module.
You can find more detail about SPI clock connectivity in the AM335x TRM sections 24.2.1 McSPI Connectivity Attributes and 24.2.2 McSPI Clock and Reset Management.
