Hello Sir,

I want to know is there any way to build whole code of IPNC RDK in a single program and then this code is transfer in the DM388 processor so we don't require SD card every time.

Hi Akshay,

In order to avoid the usage of sd card, you can use NFS filesystem.
Please refer the Install Guide , in case of any query related to NFS.

Hi Sir,

The NFS Filesystem method is used in a DM388 baseboard so I just want to know is that applicable in DM388 CSK board also.

Hi Akshay,

Kernel in RDK 3.9 as NFS boot support, you have to alter your bootargs for nfsboot. Please check mmcboot by printing it in u-boot console

#pri mmcboot

#pri bootcmd

#pri mmcargs

//similar to mmcboot you can define nfsboot

//Server IP

#setenv serverip 192.168.1.1

//NFS root path

#setenv rootpath '/home/vishwanath.patil/dm38x/Source/ipnc_rdk/target/filesys'

2.What is the flow of this?

Ok Sir, but it's only the installation file but I want PSP Arago script file which runs on the term term. and how can he access the full feature filesystem?

Hi Akshay,
As you are using NFS filesystem.
So it will be in your host PC but you can see and modify files of the full feature filesystem from your target board.

Hi Sir,

yet I am not using NFS file system for running CSK board. first of all, I have to understand the flow of Arago project can you tell me is there any script file or any kind of file is written for this purpose.

where is this file is written which called other files on the terminal?

autorun-usecase.sh file used only for WLAN interface or for another purpose also.

Hi Akshay,

autorun-usecase.sh is responsible for launching system_server which ultimately calls a lot processes including your main ipnc application.

Hi Akshay,
For your 1st question,please go through the below link

It's a package manager just like apt-get for ubuntu.

For your 2nd question.
autorun-usecase.sh does the following things.

1. Setting up the amixer(Related to audio).
2. Mounting nand partition.
3. Inserting the wlan modules.
4. Starting the remote_debug_client.out for getting the prints from ipnc application.
5. Inserting the syslink modules.
6. Initializing HDVICP(codec) and ISS (camera sensor).
7. Inserting USB related modules.
8. Running system_server which will start a your ipnc application and load the M3 firmwares.
9. Start boot_proc(RTSP) and boa(webgui). These will have dependencies with the system server.

So this is main script for running the necessary processes.
