Hi,

I'm using 66AK2H14BAAWA24 in my design. I'm in the middle of deciding the heat-sink selection,

I have the power consumption sheet as attached.

How do I calculate the power dissipation of the device ?

Thanks for the kind reply.

The provided link says "You can use the Power Estimation spreadsheet (also on the web page) to estimate the maximum heat dissipation for your application." It does not explain how. and from where.

Can you please tell me whether the current consumed by the processor can be taken as the maximum power dissipation ?

Is that correct ?

The EVM, did check the pages, but could not find any thermal design related info, except for the heat-shunt at some point.

Yes, your understanding is correct.

I see that the other thread (which I now notice is opened by you) is ongoing.. The recommendations given by the folks there apply directly to 66AK2H14 as well.
