Hello,

I would like to make an import of your IDK using Altium Designer 17.1. It is possible to import the DSN file to get the schematics and the schematic library with the components. I would also like to import the footprints of the components and therefore I tried to import the BRD file. As we do not have the Cadence Allegro, this is not possible. Could you please provide the ALG (ASCII) files from cadence allegro OR the Altium PCB library?

Thanks for your answer!
I already checked the 5 files but it is not possible to directly import the PCB using Altium Designer (for the schematics it was not a problem). Can you additionally provide the .alg File from Cadence Allegro OR the Altium PCB Libraries? I think it should not be a problem to generate the .alg File when you use Cadence Allegro.

Hi Manuel,

You can use the free Ultra Librarian software to translate the footprints in one of the bxl files found at https://webench.ti.com/cad/cad.cgi?partno=abc_760. Altium Designer is one of the supported formats.
