TDA3X EVM XGA display issue

Hi,

I have some problems with TDA3x EVM board. The doc says HDMI XGA TDM mode should be selected since VIP inputs pins is multiplexed with display output pins.

When I'm using VISION_SDK_02_06 for compiling, it all works fine. When I'm using the latest VISION_SDK_03_00, the monitor shows "out of range" when I use XGA resolution display.

In both senarios, HDMI1080p can only show two video inputs.

Is it possible to: 1. disable the multiplexed pin function that 1080p is using? or 2. find out the software change in XGA mode?

Hi Xing,

"Out of Range" Typically means that received sync signals are not correct. May be pinmux or timing set in DSS is not correct Can you please compare the DSS timing_h and timing_v registers and see if there is any change.

DSS is Display Subsystem. See TRM for more information about DSS and addresses of the registers.
