Host Port Interface connection to STM32 FSMC

Hi

This is really more of a question for someone knowledgable about the STM32 end of things.  We want to interface a TMS32VC5502 HPI to a STM32 FSMC.  The TMS320 will be operating the HPI in multiplexed mode.  Has anyone done this?  Do you have any pointers for what modes etc to use in the FSMC?
