PROCESSOR-SDK-OMAPL138: Including TI DSP Libraries in a DSP project

I have been trying to include the Ipc library in a dsp project. It is kind of irriating becuase includes folder I can see the /home/local/ti/ipc_3_46_00_02/packages folder but for some reason when I do the #include <ti/ipc/MessageQ.h> I get the an error: can't open source file. "ti/ipc/MessageQ.h". Can anyone explain to me the proper way to include things in DSP projects. This is getting to be frustrating.

I have also posted here with no conclusion this shows the path that I have tried to get this these files to include.

Hi,

You're trying to build the TI RTOS SDK, right? Also you're trying to build the RTOS sdk on a linux host machine, right?

If yes, then make sure that the corresponding folders are not accessible by root only, if this is the case, try changing the folder and subfolder permissions, i.e.:
sudo chown -R <user>:<group> /home/local/ti/

This didn't fix the probelm I have been having. It still can't find the files. I am trying to build the RTOS SDK.

I did some up dates and playing around we finally go CCS to find the libraries. But I have errors with headers in the libraries themselves. For instance Int with uppercase I was used all over and I am getting this error. #20 indentifier "Int" is undefined.

The error you are reporting requires you to include header files from XDC tools stdtypes.h. Locate the header that has this datatype defined and confirm that you have included it in the source file.
