Hello,

Does anyone know of a way to play a video (H.264, MPEG4, VC-1, etc.) on the AM3517 EVM under Linux?  We would like to find a pre-built Linux application & codecs that we can load on to the AM3517 EVM without requiring us to compile anything (if possible).

    Mark,

    We currently do not support multimedia on ARM, however you could download FFmpeg codecs and test it on your setup. You could also use Narcissus to build an Angstrom file system with FFmpeg and MPlayer as well, please select your machine as am3517-evm.

    Please be advised that some the FFmpeg libraries have GPL license.
