Hello,

I am trying to program the EMMC using uniflash according the procedure described in processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Sitara_Linux_Program_the_eMMC_on_Beaglebone_Black

and processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Sitara_Uniflash_Quick_Start_Guide

During the programming sequence i get the error message "missing environment variable: pxeuuid"

and after that the error messages that the pxelinux.cfg file can't be loaded

See attached log file

Does somebode have a idea what the cause can be of this error?

Looks like there is similar thread with issues in pxe uuid. Have a look at

Also, by setting uuid in uboot env will help you solve the issue? (eg: root=PARTUUID=0007630c-02)

I did a little more digging and I believe I have an idea of what is going on.

If you take a look at this section of the document you pointed to above:

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Sitara_Linux_Program_the_eMMC_on_Beaglebone_Black

You note that we have you stop at the U-Boot prompt to enter some commands. These commands are listed here in the above link. Can you give that a try?

If that works for you, you'll want to modify you CONFIG_BOOTCOMMAND in the include/config/am335x_evm.h to have it call these commands instead of the default values.

The pxe issue is being brought about by calling the distro_bootcmd, which is attempting a generic pxe boot. Not calling this should solve that issue, and modifiying the CONFIG_BOOTCOMMAND with exactly what you want to do should get you up and running.
