AM5728: DO178 and DO254 certification for GPUs

Hello
I have a customer interested in the AM57xx Family for an Avionics application where they will need DO178 and DO254 certification.

This includes software relating to the Graphics processors but could potentially use either the 2D (GC320)  or 3D (SGX544) GPU's

Could you confirm if / how we can support them with this DO178 and DO254 certification ?

Are there any 3rd parties that we could contact for this type of support, especially with the GPU ?

    Let me check on this.
    You call out GPU specifically, why is that?
    Has your customer gone through similar certification with other TI processors?

    We call out the GPU specifically as there will be some intensive use of graphics.

    I understand that Imagination provide the SGX drivers and have been reluctant to provide much in the way of support for these in the past.

    Could I check when we will get some feedback on this request ?

    Additionally we have found this company mentions TI when it describes its Safety critical Open GL drivers.

    We could not see a great amount of detail on the web site, or if they offer a GPU “health monitor”

     Are TI aware of this company and the level of support they can offer ?

    Have been discussing this internally, but have not come up with specific 3P recommendations that  that I can share with you that are known to be working on this specifically for AM57x family  

    I did confirm from the software team  that TI Proc SDK for SGX/GC320 User Mode libraries are in binary only. Customer/third party need to work with Imagination/GC320 to get access to source code.

    From google search also hit another 3P

    They show a bunch of our devices from OMAP2/3/4 , so it is plausible that they maybe able to offer support for AM57x family too.

    I recommend that your customer start reaching out to these 3P.
