TDA2x: Vision SDK Linux Enable LCD for demo Usecases

We are developing on TDA2x EVM , VisionSDK 3 Linux

We are able to run the demo app on HDMI. How to enable the LCD as output display for Linux Use-case demos.

The app setting shows only HDMI option in the Displays.

The LCD is 10.1" LCD/Touch Screen Module, connected to TDA2x EVM

In Vision SDK 3.0 only HDMI is supported .

There would be kernel changes to add support for LCD.
10" LCD would be supported as part of vision sdk 3.1 release

Thanks Chetan for the information,

We could not find any information that LCD is not supported from the Vision SDK Docs.,

When can we expect the Vision SDK 3.1 release with support for LCD display in Linux
As we are on a tight schedule for the development, Can we get any pre-release patches for adding this support.

Vision SDK 3.1 should be released some time by 20th of Oct.

As there would be changes in kernel,u-boot and even vision sdk giving patches on 3.0 may not be possible.

Is this the 10" LG lcd which is shipped default with tda2xx evm .?

Currently in release only 10" LG lcd is supported not the 10" OSD 1080p display.

Hi Chetan

The LCD is the 10.1'' LCD shipped with EVM
(1920 X 1200 Display/Multi-Touch Touchscreen – Spectrum Digital) www.spectrumdigital.com/.../

This was the one listed in the TI EVM Page and had mentioned supported OS: Vision SDK, StarterWare
This wont be supported upcoming release ?.

The above mentioned LCD wont be supported in vision sdk linux.

vision sdk linux supports M4 display and for m4 display we support hdmi and recently added 10" LG LCD.

Its supported in Vision SDK bios and for linux you can use infoadas release.
This would be added in further releases in vision sdk
