Hi,

You should run the Linux-RT SDK: software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html The plain Linux SDK is not supported on IDK boards.

You need to have mouse connected to the board if there is no LCD touch screen connected to the board. Matrix GUI runs as Weston application and Weston needs and input device connected for it to be launched.

The IDK boards are supported by Processor SDK Linux. No need to specifically use RT Linux.
