Error Compiling ./WL1271Build.sh

Error compiling WLAN :

i get these errors

ERROR: Kernel configuration is invalid.
include/linux/autoconf.h or include/config/auto.conf are missing.
Run 'make oldconfig && make prepare' on kernel src to fix it.

autoconf.h and version.h in this directory

autoconf.h file is in : usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.32-24-generic/include/linux

and have various version.h files in various location....

can some one give some info: ?

In the build script do you have KERNEL_DIR pointing to a kernel source tree? If so, go into the kernel source and run 'make oldconfig' and 'make prepare' The files you are missing get built when you build a kernel, or at least prepare to build one.
