Is this Part still recommended for new designs? If not, what do we have that replaced it?

    AM5728 devices were only announced last year. What makes you think they are reaching EOL. I'm looping in the factory team for additional comments.

    Hello, AM5728 is part of AM57x that is a very successful family of devices. Besides AM572x, we have now AM571x, AM570x and more coming soon.

    Product longevity is important to TI and its customers. We recognize that our products are sold to a wide variety of customers and used in a wide range of applications with expected production lifetimes often in excess of several years, including industrial, medical, and automotive applications. We are dedicated to meet customer needs and, as such, we employ strategies such as inventory management and multiple sourcing tactics to address continuity.
