TMDSICE3359: EtherNet/IP issues

Dear Technical Team ,

Am using TI development board (TMDSICE3359-REV 2.1A) for EtherNet\IP development , working with sample codes generated using batch files.

>C:\ti\PRU-ICSS-EthernetIP_Adapter_01.00.02.00\protocols\ethernetip_adapter\projects\ethernetip_adapter_AM335x_arm

Code gets compiled and working fine but how to use implicit message for i\o operation and which c file have to modify to implement my own application.

Moreover need some more details about coding implementation

Please provide me with needful implementation ASAP.

Hi Sujitha, Application files are located on \PRU-ICSS-EthernetIP_Adapter_01.00.02.00\examples\ethernetip_adapter

However, if you need more details on how Molex stack works and how to modify sample application, I think you need to contact Molex

You can find Molex contact information from TI Sitara Industrial FAQs. Also, a link to Molex EIP adapter webpage

From TI's PRU-ICSS EIP adapter, there is some really good information at this link: ICSS EIP Adapter Developer Guide, however this information doesn't include the application layer in detail, but includes a section on how to test Explicit messages using Molex EIP Tool, which could potentially help you to see how EIP adapter app calls explicit messages objects (this can be done with the help of an emulator and CCS)
