Starterware/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: PSDK vs Starterware

Are you referring to Processor SDK RTOS or Processor SDK Linux?
Assuming you meant Processor SDK RTOS, the legacy standalone Starterware package is no longer supported as mentioned here e2e.ti.com/.../628801

So, please use the Processor SDK RTOS as your application development foundation.

Starterware examples are bare metal in nature, not using an OS. However the Processor SDK RTOS examples have a macro BARE_METAL to configure some of the examples as such.
I would recommend taking a look at the training series provided for the PSDK located at training.ti.com/introduction-processor-sdk-training-series to get a better understanding of some of the nuances in the SDK.

Thanks for your response,
I installed PSDK rt-linux and then installed CCS to access low level, according to "processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Processor_Linux_SDK_CCS_Installation_Guide"
(on my host I have PSDK rt-linux and CCS and on my target board-BBB- I have PSDK rt-linux).

now I want getting start to have a LED blinker on my BBB,
but I just found workshop documentations for CCS with starterware in "processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CCS_Fundamentals_Workshop

for this reason I confused about how I should use CCS without starterware? and how PSDK can be substitute for starterware?

I'm confused by what you are trying to do.
Do you need an operating system such as Linux to run your examples?
Or are you instead looking for a bare metal/no OS type of example (that's what Starterware is)?

In my project, I need to have an Arm-cortex processor with a high-speed communication bus for connect to FPGA. and also run peripherals such as USB,SPI, I2C,etc. In addition In my system I require an operating system such as linux to manage multiple data flows, so I should choose Arm-CotexA8 processor. It should be noted I prefer  to write drivers in “CCS”. As regards I bought a beagleBone Black for reduce time to market.

that TI provides PSDK-Linux, PSDK-Linux-RT and PSDK-RTOS solutions for the AM335x devices. that all of them support CCS IDE. and I choose psdk-rt-linux.

I checked "processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Processor_Linux_SDK_CCS_Installation_Guide" and here is the steps I did:

1- I wrote "am335x-evm-linux-rt-04.00.00.04.img" on SD card by windows. then I backed it to BBB and boot it successfully and now I have matrix .

2- I installed Ubuntu 17.04 on my host computer.

3-  I installed "ti-processor-sdk-linux-rt-am335x-evm-04.00.00.04-Linux-x86-Install.bin" on my Ubuntu host according to "processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Processor_SDK_Linux_Installer"

4- I installed  "CCS7.3.0.00019_linux-x64.tar.gz" according to "processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Processor_Linux_SDK_CCS_Installation_Guide on Ubuntu.

5- connect BBB and host computer with Ethernet cable (is FTDI cable necessary?)

Now, I need to guide or documentation to run a led blinker or run a uart communication as first projects.
