TMS320DM8168: Remove UIA ServiceMgr calls

Part Number: TMS320DM8168

Hi,

I am using a DM8168 with the EZSDK 5.05.02.00. I don't want to communicate with the CCS, so I want to avoid open the port 1234 from OpenMax. This because if I try to connect to that port using for example telnet, the CPU goes to 100%, so I want to avoid that. I commented out the calls to the UIA ServiceMgr_start() and ServiceMgr_stop() in the DomxProcMgrIf_HLOS.c in the Openmax code for the M3 coprocessors and the ARM and rebuilt the firmwares, but it seems that my changes are not taking effect because I can connect to that port using telnet.

I am wondering if I am missing something, so any help on this will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Eugenia
