McBSP configuration on Linux

Hello everybody;

    I have a beagleboard rev C3 angstrom running onto it. I dont know how can i configure McBSP on linux , i may need extra library for it. can you help me about it?

Thanks in advance

    Here's the example that we discussed offline.

    For the information of others, it's a standalone example (no linux) which shows how to compile code using the Code Sourcery tools.

  • Dear Paul,

    How can we find an Linux version of this McBSP usage?(An example is enough). We are currently using Arngstrom distribution and in the directory  there is a mcbsp.c  in the \arch\arm\plat-omap\mcbsp.c

    Also, can we user this driver, is it stable? What are your opinions?

    PS: You can this mcbsp.c at the end of my  message.

    Thanks in advance...

    I don't program in Linux so I'm really not the best person to help you out here. I suggest you post your question to the Linux forum (http://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/f/354.aspx).
