AM437X/Linux: Dynamic pinmux configuration

i want to switch a pin form GPO mode to PWM mode on AM437X idk. How to configure it on linux side dynamic?

From what I understand, you want to change pinmux configuration from user space (run time).

In AM335x old kernel versions we had this option available through debugfs, see below wiki pages:

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM335x_PSP_User's_Guide

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM335x_Linux_Power_Management_User_Guide

But looks like this feature is not valid for later AM437x kernels (3.x, 4.x), see below e2e threads:
