Hi,

Let me talk about internal RAM for AM5716 and AM5706.

My customer want to use RAM to execute Program (not cache).

AM5716 and AM5706 has these internal memory.

-Cortex-A15
L1 32k/32k, L2 1MB

-Cortex-M4
L1 32k,RAM 64kB

-C66 DSP
L1 32k/32k, L2 288kB

-Shared RAM
L3 512kB

I understand User can configurate SRAM of C66 and Shared L3 RAM only for execution.

This understanding is correct??

Hi Hiroyasu,

I checked AM571x TRM, from what I was able to find there, I can state that you can use as RAM:
- Cortex-M4 IPUx_RAM 64K
- C66 DSP L1 32k/32k and L2 288K
- shared L3 RAM 512K

Cache only usage is for:
- Cortex-A15 L1 32k/32k and L2 1MB
- Cortex-M4 L1 32K
