Hello, I see that Wayland is well supported on the latest AM571x-EVM SDK. It even runs PowerVR out of the box!

Unfortunately my applications were written for X11, and only Wayland is supported in the SDK.

There appears to be some activities on adding X11 unfortunately it is marked as "experimental" and "temporary" [1].

Can I foresee proper X11 integration on the SDK in the near future?

Yes I have checked the user guide. The guide was written based on the series of patches (that are considered as temporary hacks) I linked in the original post. I wait for your response.

X11 support has been added in PLSDK 4.1 but with limited/no support for it. It’s not available in the release package but can be build using following recipes.

Right, this is the exact same link I posted in the original post above. So that dosen't help. And my question was on whether their will be official integration of X11 or not.
