RTOS/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM437X: Unable to install RTOS

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

I have tried with the version of CCS supplied on the product download page (ccs_setup_7.2.0.00013.exe)

I have also tried with the most recent version of CCS (7.3.0.00019) ... both CCS versions run fine but after i download and run the SDK :(ti-processor-sdk-rtos-am437x-evm-04.01.00.06-Windows-x86-Install.exe) TI-RTOS for AM437x does not appear. Also there are no examples for AM437 (except basic "Hello World") ... nothing in the Resource Explorer.

Am I missing something?

Hi,

The AM437x RTOS SDK is tested with CCS 7.2. After download you will get an installer on your hard driver, then run it with administrator right. You should see below and install them:

Hi Eric,

This is exactly how i've already done it. However just to make sure i deleted everything C:\ti and reverted to CCS 7.2.
Then i ran (with admin user and right click "Run as administrator") ... All options selected as shown.
The same results, no TI-RTOS for Sitara.

I am assuming there is no need to rebuild the SDK?

One thing to note is that I can see no difference in CCS before and after I installed the RTOS SDK.
No Examples, no RTOS for Sitara.

I've attached 2 screenshots.

As for the getting started guide, I've used TI-RTOS on TivaC products in the past with no problem, but that was windows 8.1. ... This is an installation problem. Still stuck

Hi,

Have you looked through the link processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Rebuilding_The_PDK

All the CCS projects are created by script, then you import them into CCS.
