J6EVM5777: how to connect adb over ether net to DRA742

I have booted the my board DRA742 model board(J6EVM5777XXX) using the instructions "http://www.omappedia.org/wiki/6AO.1.0_Engineering_Drop"

/system/bin/sh:netcfg: not found.

and also I have tried "ifconfig" it's giving

ifconfig: socket 2 0: permission denied.

i have tried "netcfg eth0 dhcp"  , giving

/system/bin/sh:netcfg: not found.



can you help me with this issue?

i have tried "netcfg" command to find the board ip address.?

Hi Madhu,

can you try to run 'adb root' first.

Hi Yordan,

i tried to run "adb root" command on my target device terminal but it is giving

/system/bin/sh:adb: not found

and also i have run this command from platform-tools folder inside the android studio but is giving

* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
error: insufficient permissions for device.

when i run "stop adbd" and " start adbd" it is giving

stop : must be root
start : must be root respectively.
