Hi,

i download the omapdrmtest(git://git.ti.com/glsdk/omapdrmtest.git);

i want to test the drm display but i don't know starting;

do you have document about the drm?

how to do understand the display-kms.c file.

Hi Ceasar,
If you want to build omapdrmtest, you will have to use Yocto filesystem of the PSDKLA.
There are applications like viddec3test, filevpedisplay etc to test features of IPS like IVAHD, VPE etc and display the processed
videos. Three type of display backends are available here.
1) KMS (DRM) : Uses DRM APIs
2) kmscube: Adds video as a texture on a kmscube OpenGL .
3) wayland: Application posts processed video to weston server.

Refer utils/util.c on the display related functions, here it based on the type of display backend.

disp_open--> Configure display
disp_get_vid_buffers---> Allocate buffers
disp_free_buffers---> Free allocated buffers
disp_get_vid_buffer---> Get a buffer for processing form the Queue.
disp_put_vid_buffer---> Put back the buffer to queue

viddec3test -s 32:1920x1200 stream.mp4 --> KMS
viddec3test --kmscube --connector 32 stream.mp4---> kmscube
viddec3test -w 1280x720 stream.mp4 ---> wayland

the disp_open is open display0(HDMI), but display1 is connected to AHD display(BT.1102),how to do configure,and open display1?

I can't understand the libdrm interface.

Please run modetest on your target, it will show the connectors connected to system. Check if it shows the second display

thank you for your reply,

the vout1 is connected LCD panel of the evm board,but we replace LCD with AHD display( BT1102 format output ), i don't configue to BT1102 output in the kernel;

how to add the connector?

did you run 'modetest' to see if it finds second display as suggested by Ramprasad?

how to add VOUT1?please help me the premise of the question,

now,the VOUT1 connect to AHD display that require output signal are BT1120;
how to do configue and what use app to test?
