AM4372: L1 and L2 cache verification

Hi all,

My customers enable L1, L2 in register settings, but it seems uneasy whether this is working properly.
Is there a way to know that L1, L2 cache is working correctly?

You can double check the CP15 registers through JTAG to ensure the cache is enabled and configured correctly. You can also setup the event monitoring registers in the PL310 cache controller to count certain events (eg, cache hits and requests) to see how efficiently the cache is operating. Also, you should be able to use the CCS profiling feature to measure code performance.
