Hi,

DRM is supported in the AM335x Processor SDK: www.ti.com/.../PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X See processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Linux_Core_LCD_Controller_User_Guide

As for kernel v3.12, this was an intermediate version, which is now obsolete and no longer maintained or supported by TI.

Hi biser,

Thanks first I will try in 3.12 then I will move to latest.

Could you help me for DRM for lcd configurations in day file and modules which all I need to enable for DRM in Kernel.

Hi Biser,
I tried but it is not working. tested in Linux 3,.4 it is working. but there is some dependencies thats why i could not get success all in 3.14.
Guide me how to get enable the DRM support in linux 3.12.

v3.12 doesn't support tilcdc DRM driver and that version of driver is also not supported anymore.

Hi,

Ok, You mean Linux 3.12 don't have DRM support.

But for next version SDK8 Linux 3.14 must have DRM support right??

Hi,

I had typo in my previous comment. I meant v3.12 has DRM support but TI doesn't support that version any more. Prior versions like v3.12 and v3.14 may not be that mature in tilcdc DRM solution compared to the latest kernel releases.

You can check TI kernel git tree here and can browse to drivers/gpu/drm/tilcdc folder to see if particular version has DRM support and also compare the changes between kernel versions.
