Linux/TMS320DM8148: how to write image processing app in Dm8148 board

Hello,

I am using Dm8148 board and i want to write a simple image processing example to compile on my host machine and run target board.

my tool chain is :- arm-2014.05-29-arm-none-linux-gnueabi-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.bz2

my host machine is : Ubuntu 14.04

my image is :- ezsdk_dm814x-evm_5_05_02_00_setuplinux

please give me steps for it, how to write a simple example and cross compile and load on target board and run dsp core.

This is not the recommend host machine for installing and building EZSDK.

"This release only supports Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 32-bit and Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit as your development host. Follow the instructions on this wiki page if you want to create a virtual Ubuntu image."

The recommended toolchain is:

arm-2009q1-203-arm-none-linux-gnueabi

I would recommend you to check this guide:

There are demos which are running on DSP.

My setup is done , please let me know that how to use image processing api on that and how to set static ip in both eth0 and eth1 command.

root@dm814x-evm:~# ifconfig
root@dm814x-evm:~# ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.2 up

Hello Margarita,

This command is working fine after boot dm8148. but i want to change fixed static Ip from /etc/network/interface file for (eth0 and eth1).
