TMS320C5515: What dialect/syntax is the C55x assembly in?

Part Number: TMS320C5515

I'd like to enable syntax highlighting for assembly language used for the C5515 (both for my own code and the output of the compiler with -k). I use mainly Sublime Text, sometimes Emacs. Is the syntax used by the assembly for these devices based on a more common one, so I can use the syntax highlighting for that? I haven't been able to find TI-specific packages for syntax highlighting in either editor.

Yep, I've read both of those. I couldn't see a mention of a particular family of assembly syntax except the algebraic/mnemonic distinction.

Most TI devices use mnemonic syntax, and are their own "family" of language syntax. C55x (and some versions of C54x before it) support "algebraic" syntax, which I'd call unique, so it too is its own family. I use emacs, but I don't usually use syntax highlighting for assembly code. I tend to use text or fundamental mode for mnemonic assembly code, but the default asm-mode is OK, too. I'm not aware of any TI-specific assembly modes, but emacs being emacs, you could write your own if you really want to.

I've started on a ST3 syntax highlighting plugin. One thing that'd make it easier is a machine-parseable list of mnemonic instructions. I have the PDFs but I can't really parse those to extract a list of valid instructions. Do you know if such a list exists, either online or in the installed TI tools?
