Linux/AM3352: DDR2 without optimized timing configuration

Part Number: AM3352

Tool/software: Linux

Hello Texas team,

I was reading the topic https://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/linux/f/354/t/614810?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=Linux%3A%20DDR2%20without%20optimezed%20timming%20configuration

And I have the same question that did not was answered in this topic.

I am considering use 2 PNs of DDR2 in my AM3352, I noted just 3 parameters changing between these two PNs; tRAS, tRC and tWTR. The first PN uses tRAS=40ns, tRC=55ns, tWTR=7,5ns. The second PN uses tRAS=45ns, tRC=57.5ns, tWTR=10ns.

All the rest of parameters are equal, since these 3 parameters are very near is it possible to consider the higher value for each parameter and make only one config valid for both PNs? There is no problem if this affect performance, (since the values will be higher than the recommended).

Thank you very much for your help!
