You can get some I2C examples from the CSL release which can be downloaded from software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

C:\ti\c55_lp\c55_csl_3.08\ccs_v6.x_examples\i2c

This forum does not support the PCM5142 device, so not sure what specific I2C commands you will have to send, etc.
