AM3358: Ethernet/IP and EtherCAT Master on CPSW

Hi,

Our customers want to use both Ethernet/IP(CIP) and etherCAT master.
Is it possible to simultaneously use Ethernet/IP and etherCAT master using CPSW's 2 ports?

Hi Shigehiro, just want to confirm if for Ethernet/IP are we talking about the scanner (master), or the adapter (slave)?.

If it is an adapter, then you need both ports.

If it is an scanner, and not using DLR (ring) you could potentially use one port.

Could you please give us more details about your use case? is this going to be an industrial protocol gateway? which OS?
