Hi All,

We are working on Beagle Bone Black,

7th pin is having 5V in P9 Header,  Can I give external power output to this line ?

    Hi,

    Pins 7 and 8 of P9 are connected to SYS_5V, which is the +5V output of the PMIC. You can use these pins to provide +5v to external circuitry, but you must observe that the total current drawn from SYS_5V (this includes BBB board plus your external circuitry) never exceeds the PMIC limit of 2.5A when powered from AC, or 1.3A when powered from USB.
