Now,i build Ethercat project in AM4379.

Master:PC-Twincat3

Slave:AM4379

But,How can i run DC Mode in AM4379?

And, in DC mode, SYNC0 cycle why 1ms, the main data from the normal transceiver, if 100us can detect the waveform, but the data transceiver is not normal?

Just for reference, what version of the PRU-ICSS EtherCAT are you using? Are you running the full featured application?.

There is a description which for the AM335x which is also good for the AM437x http://wiki.tiprocessors.com/index.php/Running_AM335x_EtherCAT_Application_in_DC_Mode

Although you are probably familiar with these documents, let me include this reference for completeness. Beckhoff has a good discription of the DC mode and the DC registers in http://www.beckhoff.com/english.asp?download/ethercat_development_products.htm in EtherCAT Technology (Section I) and EtherCAT Registers (Section II)

1 ms sync0 was an arbitrary value that was chosen. What value would you like to use?

Hi David,
Thanks for your reply!
I use the full feature application and i can run Ethercat application in DC Mode.
But,How I Can modify the example code for using the Distribut clock (Sync0 interrupt) ?

Yangyang,

Are you trying to modify the ECAT_Application() within the Sync0_Isr(void) in ecatappl.c?

/* Application is synchronized to SYNC0 event*/
ECAT_Application();
