Does the new DSP/BIOS 6.x support both the ARM core and the DSP core of OMAP-L137?

Hi Joe,

Yes, both the ARM9 and c674 DSP cores are supported for OMAP-L137. You can view the list of supported devices by clicking on the "Device Support" link in the release notes.

Thank you Jon for the prompt response.

One more question - are there any recommended books / guides to learn DSP/BIOS, particularly for a multicore device like OMAP-L137? I am aware of wiki, online tutorials and videos.

Hi Joe,

I would suggest starting with the BIOS user guide and the IPC user guide. You can access the BIOS user guide through the release notes link I posted above. The IPC user guide can be accessed through the IPC release notes from this link.
